Joppa you design the music from everything I gather. I have heard some really good stuff including the "theme song." Do you take inspiration from anywhere? What bands do you follow? Also have you heard of the band "Punch Brothers?" If not check them out they had a wicked fiddle player!

I love Punch Brothers! "Movement and Location" is probably my favorite :)
I take inspiration from so many different places...I used to be a singer-songwriter and I've developed a type of craft for coming up with memorable melodies and song structures. I love the music from many different MMOs, including EQ1 and Vanguard. I'm also quite smitten with the Lord of the Rings soundtracks and a lot of Hans Zimmer's works and techniques.
When I heard this song the other day, it made me think of you Joppa and your work with music. I just imagine you listening to this in order to get pumped up before you start composing. Kind of like your theme song. :)

Is it just me or does song remind anyone else of the Mary Tyler Moore theme song?
great song choice! I think my Favorite song is "Clara" although my buddy bought me the new album on record and I am awaiting it with great anticipation.
I really agree that Vanguard and EQ1 had some pretty epic music. I remember hearing that EQ theme the first time I logged in watching the loading screen was magic. Just think you will be a part of that for a new generation! Exciting stuff man keep it coming. And thanks for taking the time to reply.
