You dropped all trade requirements for T1 to 1 which makes sense so you can make starter gear but then you removed all the T2 recipes and put them in chests which are being perma camped by a specific guild.I enjoy crafting but causing us to have to run loops around the same map for hours trying to catch recipes does not make this game "innovative" or new which is what Pantheons vision was at one time.
Yeah, I will not be doing that and if that is their design, I will not be playing this on live. All gear should be craftable from the trainers. Are they seriously trying to tell us that nobody knows how to make chain or plate armor? Crafting should be for base gear. Drop recipes should be for enhanced craftable gear.
Let's hope that further in development decision comes to re-work this. No drop only for the highest tier or most desired high level schematics. Was surprised that (most/all?) T2 crafted items seem to require finding a "no-drop" schematic which are only found as random drops in chests. (very) Pleased with the game so far, but I would vote for those schematics to be more accessible, mob-dropped as well as chest dropped and tagged as tradeable.
I get wanting to make progression feel earned, but forcing crafters into a chest-camping grind dominated by one guild isn’t it. There needs to be a better basketball stars balance—let us craft, trade, or earn recipes in more engaging ways.
@Magnus, the schematics that come from chests are "Lifebound" which means you don't leave them on your corpse when you die. They are freely tradeable or sellable to other players.
The chest being the only way for finding schematics is not a good one and there will soon be other ways to acquire schematics. As a Crafter I don't like the chests either and am glad we are moving towards more sources.
