  23 Wizard here - This class is broken after level 20. At level 20 we get "Novice Elemental Focus" to replace "Basic Elemental Focus" this innate ability is key in mana regeneration which is based off how much focus we have. The "Basic Elemental Focus" never gets replaced with the "Novice" version. Have tried everything we can think of. It makes this class unplayable and basically sitting for mana more than fighthing.

  Not sure I understand, but you should still have the basic focus in your codex. If the new version is not working/buggy, you can put the older version on your bar again.

  These are innate abilities and cannot be put on your bars. The novice elemental focus should replace the basic one. But it doesn’t and there’s no way to get the novice elemental focus on. How did they possibly mess up such a mile stone ability?

  Ahh I must have missed that in the patch notes. Last time I played a wizard, the focus was a normal buff you could put on your bar and had to cast.

  So it is a passive ability now, and the new ability does now work but the old ability cannot be made "active" again? Ok yeah then that sucks and should be fixed quickly.

  Is there a way to "click off" or cancel the old buff and then use the new ability in your book? I thought I heard a player say something about this in OOC but I was not paying 100% attention ;-).

  Nope, not possible. No way to take the ability off. I’ll just wait until EA at this point and roll a different class. Hopefully they fix it before EA or Wizards will never find a group after lvl 20
