No one is talking about how awesome the Shaman stream was on 4/2/20!

Shaman is on my short list on what class to play on launch, and the list may have gotten shorter.

    Nice job, VR!

    Keep up the great work!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I watched the stream yesterday. My main in eq was a shaman and had no interest in trying him over the other classes during beta due to knowing he'd be my main. After seeing the synergy with other classes I can't wait to try the shaman in beta, to the point where I'd probably want to pug more than run with a regular grind group. Always nice to learn the nuances with every class. Only issue I had was how much threat value slow, solo/group hots, and chronoburn would cause. Didn't see any mastery for threat reduction, and the only fire debuff had a dot component on it. Hoping the shamans have a resist debuff line without a dot for initial pulls and to help enchanters with mez when there are 3+ mobs in the group. Curious if you can send pet commands when you're casting also.

All in all, I'm jonesin' to get on the shaman now! Can't wait for more deep dives in classes, keep up the stellar work folks.

I had zero interest in playing a Shaman until this stream came out so I definately think they nailed it from my perspective. The only thing I want to mention is that they made some comment (this is a very rough remembering of that comment dont kill me over it) along the lines that they had reduced the health and mana pools so that the spells they were showcassing would be visually noticeable to those watching the stream. or something along those lines correct me please if I misunderstood what was being said. So what we saw was an unrealistic interpretation of how much these spells will actually do in game. I hope someone can maybe speak better about this.

The intepretation I had is they were using special developer commands to take their health and mana pools down to 10% of their pool cap to showcase those abilities, and not that they were lowering the cap on the pool.

I would assume though that they are using on level abilities for both players and enemies to give the most accurate interpretation.

Played a shaman in EQ1...very excited after watching this stream to play one in Pantheon! It exceeds my expectations as to what the class would bring to the table.

The Shamen stream got me even more interested. I'll try out all three healers plus Enchanter and maybe Paladin, but I won't know which one to main until I find out which one I like best. Character name/concept, race, and look will also factor into my decision. Visually, I'm liking the Shamen quite a bit over the Cleric.

At this point, after 6+ years of following this and being focused so intently upon the Shaman class (as I'm a decades long Shaman class player), it comes down to needing to experience this in PA and Alpha.  While I liked the Shaman stream, it was just 3 guys standing in a static location attacking a mob that doesn't fight back.  The existence of Chronoburn is welcomed news as I've been hoping to see a Cannabalize type ability for Shaman since day 1.
