In case you missed it, the Oct video-blog has once and for all confirmed that Terminus existed before all the races "arrived".

Leading us to one only one conclusion, if Giorgio A. Tsoukalos (not a scientist, or anything else rational) is to be believed.

    PANSPERMIA

the theory that life on the earth Terminus originated from microorganisms or chemical precursors of life present in outer space and able to initiate life on reaching a suitable environment.

Or perhaps from previous visitations from intelligent life.

If i recally the lore correctly, this isn't far from lore-correct.

If I recall correctly, other planets/dimensions collided with Terminus, thus seeding the current race selction of player races.  Hoowever, they were not "microorganisms".  They were fully developed cultures.

Plus there are/were other (non-playable) races (like sprigann, dragons etc) - native to Terminus (or whatever name it had before) - that dwelled the planet long before "visitors" came.

Yeah it clearly states for the dark mry they were simply living in their world and out of no where (basically) got thrown into terminus where the seas were poisoness to them and cuased one of their gods to sacrafice himself to try to save them whcih didnt succeed and had their "mother" sacrafice her immortality to give them lungs, which they paid her back by killing her.

From a lore perspective, JN mentioned four names for the planet we now call Terminus.

This gives me hope that we're going to find a lot of history that precedes both the Deicide War and the rule of the dragons, in game.

It also makes me think that the story of Terminus is much bigger than what we think we know.
