  This probably have been asked before but i have not seen any recent activty on it. Is there a date range they are looking at for alpha pledges to gain access?

  nope. just speculation. most seem to think it will start this summer to the end of the year.

  In the future you can just use a search engine to see about any alpha dates.  You can also use this forums search bar and just search for Alpha.   No need to create new threads for things that you think "probably have been asked before"

  Ok, slightly different question.  Is there any info on pre alpha 5?  last I heard there was going to be one, but haven't heard anything (and i mean ANYTHING) about when that would be.  Is there any word on any FURTHER Pre alphas after 5 before we can get on with Alpha?  Basically, ok, you won't give us a clue about Alpha; fine.  What has to happen before we CAN get to Alpha?

  No info on the next Pre-Alpha or Alpha, when we get closer to those sessions, we will speak more about them, Alpha is a while off yet so please continue to be patient, and we will let you all know when we have a time frame in mind.
